Come dive a new spot in the Marlborough Sounds! This place was pretty taken over by macro algae, a side effect of overfishing and habitat destruction. 🪸 My dad used to live in the sounds, and told me how commercial scallop boats came in from Nelson and dredged the sounds until the scallops were gone, and now it’s like this in a lot of places- I’ll be back to dive again from a boat!
