An LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) is a sensor used to measure linear displacement with high accuracy. It consists of one primary coil and two identical secondary coils placed symmetrically on either side. A movable soft iron core slides inside the coils without touching them. The primary coil is excited with a constant AC voltage, creating an alternating magnetic field that couples to the secondary coils through the core. When the core is exactly at the center, called the null p
