The new mural in the narthex of St Patrick's Cathedral in New York is stunning. Beautiful in design, execution and, most of all, theme. It highlights the immigrant past and present of the city, and features Catholic heroes like St. Kateri Tekakwitha, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, Blessed Pierre Toussaint and Servant of God Dorothy Day. A separate panel honors firefighters, police officers and rescue workers. And there is over all this, images from the Apparitions of Our Lady of Knock, a nod to the
