An amazing capture of one of the Great Blue Herons nesting on CNC's grounds! For the third consecutive year, Great Blue Herons are nesting behind the Red-shouldered Hawk aviary. Unlike their raptor neighbors, herons typically nest in large groups called rookeries. Currently, there are three nests under construction.
