Grow your own capers by pickling them. A gourmet treat! Technically they aren’t true capers but they taste just as good. (Real capers are from the Mediterranean plant Capparis spinosa) Harvest the nasturium seeds and pickle them in a jar containing quality vinegar. I like to use cider vinegar - because i think it has the best flavour. But any vinegar will do. You can also add some slightly crushed peppercorns for additional flavour. I used pink peppercorns instead of the usual black peppercorns
