The SAAB 93 was a compact car produced by the Swedish manufacturer from 1955 to 1960, representing a significant evolutionary step from its predecessor, the SAAB 92. It was the first SAAB model to feature a three-cylinder, two-stroke engine (replacing the two-cylinder), which was mounted longitudinally. The 93 also introduced a new front-end design, including a divided windshield and more modern styling. It achieved success in the U.S. market and cemented SAAB's sporting reputation through early
