A few weeks ago, I photographed the "Blessing of the Hounds" which opens the Long Lake Hounds' formal season. Note: This is a drag hunt, no foxes are involved. Mixing photography and video during a fast-moving event is a challenge! I feel conflicted most of the time as to which of the two I should be doing. But as this is something I do to sharpen my skills (ie. I am not getting paid), it's a good time to experiment and learn from what worked and what didn't work, which is something I talk a lot
