We are so immensely proud of our Swift Water Rescue Team and our crews from Bishop Auckland, Durham, Stanhope, and Middleton in Teesdale, who last night rescued the driver of a van from the River Wear in Westgate. At 5pm on Tuesday evening (19th Jan) crews responded to reports of a vehicle that had entered the water at Westgate.
