Leased from the B&M, GP-7 1562 brings train #1513 across drawbridge #7 from Everett into Somerville. These trains are operated push-pull with a Diesel Locomotive on one end and a Cab Control Car (Budd RDC) on the other. Leased GP-7 1562 pulls two de-motored RDC's into the station at Wilmington on train #1313.

Nov 14, 2024 · Boston & Maine GP9 #1720 and GP7 #1575, bound for Berlin, have a clear "High Ball" as they set out cars for the Maine Central at Whitefield, New Hampshire on July 22, 1976. This early type of signaling system is where the term "high ball" originated.

All B&M GP-7 were delivered in maroon with gold striping and Minuteman heralds on the cab sides. Underframes were black with black trucks but most received silver trucks starting in 1953. Eventually all B&M GP-7s were painted 'blue dip'.
