Pedro Pascal and Kerry Washington were among the A-list stars who joined the No Kings Day protests against President Donald Trump.

Speaking at a "No Kings" rally in Washington, D.C., Bill Nye, the former host of "Bill Nye the Science Guy," urged lawmakers to “stop the abuses of this petulant president [Trump] and his circle of sycophants,” declaring, “No thrones, no crowns, no kings."

The DC protest was the largest in the Washington area, but there also gatherings throughout the DMV, including Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Silver Spring. According to organizers, more than 7 million people participated in more than 2,700 events in all 50 states.

President Donald Trump has dismissed the second round of “No Kings” protests that took place across the U.S. over the weekend, attended by almost 7 million Americans expressing their concerns about his administration.

Organizers said some 2,600 protests were planned in the U.S. on Saturday. The protests were largely peaceful, as demonstrators united in their stated aim to safeguard the country's democratic values.

Volunteers at protests across the state focused on collecting signatures for a 2026 ballot measure that would overturn Missouri's recent redistricting plan. The new map was drawn by Republican lawmakers to weaken Democratic voting power around Kansas City.

In the largest series of demonstrations against the administration and its policies to date, participants express fear and loathing at America’s political trajectory
