Delegations will meet this weekend in Switzerland for the first major talks between the world’s two biggest economies since Trump sparked a tariff war in his second term.

India fired missiles into Pakistani-controlled territory in several locations early Wednesday, killing at least 19 people including a child, in what Pakistan’s leader called an act of war. India said it struck infrastructure used by militants linked to last month’s massacre of tourists in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir.

India’s actions came in response to a deadly terror attack two weeks ago in Kashmir, a territory that it has long fought over with Pakistan.
