WEST LAFAYETTE — Charlie Woods entered the Junior PGA Championship and started slow, just cracking the top 50 on Tuesday at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette. Woods would prove to doubters, if there were any, that he could hold his own on the big stage just over a week after being cut in the U.S. Amateur Championship in Dallas.

WEST LAFAYETTE - Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, is tied for second at -12 heading into the final round of the Junior PGA Championship. Woods is scheduled to tee off at 10:06 a.m. from Ackerman-Allen, accompanied by tournament leader Lunden Esterline (-19) and Pennson Badget (-12).

Tiger Woods' son, Charlie, carded another superb round on Thursday to move into a tie for second place at the Junior PGA Championship with just 18 holes remaining. The younger Woods now has his sights set not only on winning the biggest title of his young career but also on the chance to make his debut defending the red,
