Amid a national sweep over student visas that has hit colleges across the U.S., the Trump administration on Friday canceled more than a dozen international student visas at the University of California — including UCLA and UC San Diego — and Stanford University.

Visas of several current and former international students at Central Michigan University have been terminated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the school said.

The U.S. government quietly revoked the visas of five international students at UMass Amherst. The school wasn't notified.
