The Bengals are throwing in the towel on Jake Browning after trading for Joe Flacco. The veteran passer struggled in Cleveland but could still be an upgrade for Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

The 49ers (4-1) travel across the country to face the Bucs (4-1), and both teams are coming off entertaining 3-point wins on the road. The 49ers — despite being riddled with injuries on offense — won Thursday night over the Rams as huge underdogs. Mac Jones filled in again for quarterback Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense looked good.

So I'm supposed to be giving you some picks for Week 6 right now, but before that can happen, I need to make sure that CBS Sports hasn't banned me from making picks after what happened in Week 5.  I had my worst week of the season and it wasn't close.

Jason Lisk at PoolGenius ranked the worst survival pool bad beats, and he had the Cardinals' 22-21 loss on Sunday at No. 1. It's hard to argue. If you're still alive for Week 6 because you didn't pick the Cardinals (or Rams, or Bills), then you're already playing with house money.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jones will be fined $250,000 for making the gesture with his middle finger. Per the report, Jones can appeal the penalty.
