The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for fine particulate matter, in effect from midnight Saturday through midnight Sunday night.

ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued an air quality health advisory for fine particulates for Sunday. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for fine particulates.

At 3:46 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service reported an air quality alert in effect until Monday at midnight for Cayuga and Oswego counties.
