Rescuers in Nepal and India on Monday scrambled to deliver emergency aid after days of torrential rain triggered landslides and floods that have killed more than 70 people, officials said.
As per the National Defence Response Force (NDRF), a total of 18 have been killed in Darjeeling, with 11 of those in Mirik, the worst-hit area.
Additionally, 11 people have been reported missing in disaster-related incidents, confirmed APF Joint Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa.
