A 25-year-old Delhi man riding a motorcycle died in a crash Friday morning in Stanislaus County near Modesto, the California Highway Patrol said.

Sacramento County deputies are in a standoff with an unarmed person at a home in the Rosemont area, the sheriff's office said.

The lumber yard's grand opening will be held Aug. 29 and 30 and will feature a hot dog stand, a charity chicken barbecue, and giveaways including Buffalo Bills tickets and a Dewalt drill kit.
