JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man has been arrested after police tied him to the murder of a man in the Baymeadows area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. In a release from JSO, the department says they arrested 42-year-old Mark Gordon in connection to the murder of 30-year-old Trevian Jackson on Oct. 4, 2025.

Terrence Jevan Owens, 32, was charged Sept. 18, a St. Johns County court record shows. Owens was fired from JSO “immediately” after his bosses learned of the arrest, a JSO spokesperson announced by email.
