Alabama football landed its' first commitment of the spring transfer portal window Wednesday from a former West Virginia tight end.

Alabama football has added depth to its tight end room through the NCAA transfer portal with a pickup from a Power Four program.

Sammarco is Alabama’s first transfer portal pickup of the spring window. Ahead of the portal opening, Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer noted that the Tide would need to be choosy, given its lack of open scholarships.
