Ford issued a recall for over 300,000 vehicles due to a potential braking issue that could "increase the risk of a cash," authorities said.

Ford Motor Company is recalling more than 312,000 U.S. vehicles because of a potential loss of power brake assist, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the Electronic Brake Booster module may lose power when driving, increasing crash risks.
