Though Daredevil: Born Again hit a few production snags that delayed its Disney Plus debut, Marvel has finally released the series’ first trailer ahead of its premiere in March.

After the trailer for the new Daredevil series dropped yesterday, its serious tone and bloody nature has given me faith that Disney could revive Punisher.

Daredevil: Born Again‘s trailer has punched its way online, and many Marvel Cinematic Universe fans can’t believe how violent it is. The footage from Born Again included multiple scenes of characters taking some hard hits and even bones being viciously broken – and there was no shying away from the blood that was being splattered

It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.
