There were a lot of references to AEW yesterday during the opening segment of WWE RAW between Cody Rhodes and John Cena. For the third straight week, John Cena and Cody Rhodes opened WWE RAW. This week saw much more of a back and forth promo instead of the previous two weeks.

The feud between Jey and GUNTHER, which had seemingly stagnated due to the extended period between Jey's Royal Rumble victory and their WrestleMania title match, was reignited with a compelling angle that injected much-needed intensity.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had another confrontation with his "WrestleMania" opponent John Cena that ended in a fight on "Raw."
