A boil water advisory for parts of St. Bernard Parish was lifted Thursday after water samples tested negative for bacteria such as total coliform and E. coli, parish officials said. Parish officials issued a precautionary advisory Wednesday for areas from First Assembly Church on Parish Road to the Bayou Bienvenue Bridge.

The area affected includes Freeman Avenue south to Riverview Avenue and 9th Street to 18th Street, north of Central Avenue.

The Christian County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for north Christian.

A boil water advisory is now in place for parts of St. Bernard Parish. The parish says a water line broke in the area -- and testing for water quality is underway. The affected areas are the First Assembly Church on Paris Road to the parish line,

The Warren County Public Safety Department is advising all affected residents to boil water before use, as it is currently not potable.

Elizabethton Water Resources issued a boil water notice on Wednesday. The utility company posted on social media that the boil water notice is a precautionary advisory after a water main break on Highway 19E near Pete Hampton Drive.
