Reese suffered a fracture in her left wrist last season and missed the final six games. She returned to play in the Unrivaled three-on-three league this year, but missed the end of that season as well after hurting her wrist again when another player hit it going for a rebound.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Former LSU star Angel Reese’s homecoming in the Chicago Sky’s WNBA exhibition opener was a smashing success. Reese had 15 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Sky to a rousing 89-62 victory over the Brazilian national team on Friday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

On Friday, Reese scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a performance reminiscent of the many she played at LSU. Early in the second quarter, she pulled down a board, started a transition chance herself, looked up court and slung a one-handed pass over three defenders and down to Sky guard Rachel Banham, who banked in an open layup.
