EXCLUSIVE: Range Media Partners has signed Alan Ritchson, who became a household name playing Jack Reacher in the eponymous action series. Led by co-founder Rich Cook, Range beat out a number of other companies to sign Ritchson after he recently left his longtime manager.
To add fuel to Alan Ritchson’s fire, the synopsis for Gone Tomorrow, which is the book Season 4 is based on, is epic. In the novel, Reacher races through New York City as a bunch of people who are lying to him try and get him killed.
Recalling a final screen-test, he said he "made no mistakes," however at the end, Don Granger, a producer for Skydance, said there was something "distracting" going on in the background, like the sound of drums.
