Mariners fans clamoring for a no-blackout, easy-to-digest platform to watch games will have a new way to do so in 2025, as the club will usher in a new era for broadcast distribution with the launch of a new streaming app.

Seattle Mariners fans have a new way to watch their favorite baseball team with the launch of the ROOT Sports Stream app, revealed by the franchise Friday.

The Mariners will be able to be seen by a national audience on several different channels and streaming services in 2025.

When the Mariners reacquired Mitch Haniger from the Giants last offseason in a multiplayer trade, the hope was that he might return to the form he had in 2021 and help provide offense for the team that helped him blossom into a big leaguer.

When the Mariners snapped the 20-year postseason drought in 2022, Haniger managed to get a hit in each of the team's five playoff games. The Mariners begin the season against the Athletics on March 27 at T-Mobile Park.
