Tropical Storm Jerry churns in the Atlantic as a weakened Priscilla nears Mexico’s Baja peninsula
Priscilla has lost hurricane strength as it churns off Mexico's western Pacific coast ever closer to the Baja California peninsula.
The National Hurricane Center says tropical wave AL95 has a "high" chance of becoming a tropical depression this week.
Hurricane forecasters highlighted two new disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean Thursday morning, including a potential area of low pressure that could bring rain to the Gulf Coast. The low-pressure system could form in the next couple of days near southern Florida, forecasters with the National Hurricane Center in Miami said at 7 a.m. Thursday.
