The Board of Governors voted to approve a number of policies and procedures, including the Indigenous Citizenship Declaration Policy.

The petition follows a letter to UVic administration in April 2025, which raised concerns about the way accommodations are handled at UVic.

Topics included an amended Service Groups Policy and a motion to rename some Board positions, to be voted on at the Annual General Meeting.
