An off-duty US Customs and Border Protection officer was shot in a Manhattan park on Saturday following an apparent robbery gone wrong, New York City police and federal officials said.

Taylor police are investigating a weekend shooting that claimed the life of a teenager. The shooting happened at about 9 p.m. Saturday, officials said in a post on the police department's Facebook page.
