Valentina Shevchenko defeated Manon Fiorot via unanimous decision to retain the flyweight title in the co-main event of UFC 315. The champion, "Bullet" Shevchenko, entered Saturday's matchup at Bell Centre in Montreal as the underdog against the hungry challenger.

Following a back-and-forth fight, McCourt emerged victorious via a split decision before she went on to sign with Bellator where she has fought 10 times. The 32-year-old last competed in the main event of the Bellator Champions Series card in London last September where she faced Sara Collins.

In a 5-round women's flyweight championship bout in the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko and Manon Fiorot meet Saturday at UFC 315.
