The suspect accused of starting the Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean County appeared virtually in court on Tuesday, April 29 one week after he allegedly failed to put out a bonfire.

Officials say that as of Monday at noon, the fire has consumed 15,300 acres of land in the six days that it has been burning.
