A Siemens executive, his wife, and their three children were among the six people killed in a tourism helicopter crash into the Hudson River near Manhattan on Thursday, a Siemens spokesperson said.

The victims of the helicopter crash were identified as Siemens executive Agustin Escobar, his wife Mercè Camprubí Montal, their 9-year-old daughter Mercedes, and pilot Seanqese Johnson, 36.

An executive of Siemens, a European technology company, his wife and young children were aboard the tourist helicopter that plunged into New York City's Hudson River on Thursday, leaving no survivors.

After circling the Statue of Liberty, it flew north along the Hudson River, reaching the George Washington Bridge by 3:08 p.m.

The father was identified as Agustín Escobar, an executive from the German technology firm Siemens Mobility, his wife Merce Camprubi Montal, as well as, the couple’s 4, 8 and 10-year-old children.
