Commissioners in Kerr County, Texas, are set to meet Monday in their first official court hearing since more than 100 people, including children and counselors at a summer camp, were killed in catastrophic flooding last week.

The region of Texas that suffered tremendous loss last week because of heavy rain and flooding is once again in danger of taking in more water. On Sunday morning, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the epicenter of the catastrophic Independence Day flooding event.

A flash flood warning has been issued for parts of North Texas, including areas such as Plano, Carrollton and Richardson until midnight. Scattered thunderstorms are ongoing this evening. This activity is expected to continue overnight and throughout Sunday.
