We’ve been hearing for months that Apple is planning to bring AAA game Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition to macOS, and yesterday we finally got a release date: it’s due to arrive tomorrow, July 17. It’s the news Mac gamers have been waiting a tortuously long time to hear.
Original Story: CD Projekt Red will showcase Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 tomorrow (the 16th July), via a dedicated livestream. It starts at 4pm BST / 5pm CEST. Fans of the RPG have been waiting for this one. Patch 2.3 was originally meant to release last month, on the 26th June, but it was delayed to ensure its quality.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is officially coming to the Mac this week. CD PROJEKT RED has announced that the game will be available on Thursday, July 17 for Macs powered by Apple Silicon through the Mac App Store, GOG.com, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

That fits with a GamesRadar report saying the 2.3 update will feature "new Photo Mode functionality, additional cars, and more." The site also says the 2.3 update will go live on July 17 alongside the release of the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077, which was announced today.
Earlier this summer, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition made its debut on Nintendo Switch 2. Now, CD Projekt Red is bringing the game to Mac almost five years after it was released on PC and consoles.
