Carnival has a list of banned items that you cannot bring on a cruise. For example, you can’t bring weapons, fireworks, liquor, any appliances with a heating element, or hoverboards, just to name a few.

Carnival Corp. is putting the finishing touches on, not a new ship, but a new destination for cruise passengers. Beginning in July, Doral-based Carnival will send ships between PortMiami and Celebration Key, a private development in the Bahamas.

There are dozens of islands in the Caribbean that cruise ships use as ports of call, but one logistical problem when trying to fit several interesting ports into a week-long cruise is that some of them are far.

Most Carnival cruise passengers are willing to deal with this unsightly issue in order to continue enjoying one cruise ship convenience.
