AMD's next foray into the desktop gaming graphics card market was announced at CES today with the reveal of the Radeon RX 9070 XT And RX 9070.

AMD’s highly-anticipated RDNA 4 GPUs have a slightly different naming structure than previous generations, so let’s clear that up first: AMD is now naming its GPU models by 10s instead of 100s, which is why we’re seeing the Radeon RX 9070 name.

AMD just teased the Radeon RX 9070 yesterday at CES 2025 with very little in the way of specs or even a release date. However, because Team Red was demoing the Radeon RX 9070 at its booth with Call of Duty Black Ops 6 – which has a built-in Benchmark tool – I was able to get a quick peek how this next-gen GPU performs.
