The DFB Pokal draw has taken place in order to confirm all the matchups for the 1st round of the 2025/26 season. The matches will take place between August 15th and August 18th .

RB Leipzig has reached the final only once before—a 3-0 loss to Bayern in the 2019—while Dortmund will be looking for its fifth DFB Pokal trophy and third of the last decade.
