Pitt star Aaron Donald has been elected to the College Football Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, the National Football Foundation announced Wednesday.

Notre Dame football and head coach Marcus Freeman landed former star Pittsburgh defensive lineman Francis Brewu out of the transfer portal.

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi announced that they are welcoming 16 of their Class of 2026 signees as early enrollees for this season. The early enrollees completed their high school requirements and graduated. This now allows them to come to Pitt and enroll in classes and start college.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have now won 23 straight home "Monday Night Football" games. Monday night's 28-15 win for the Steelers vs. the Miami Dolphins at Acrisure Stadium extended the team's primetime home winning streak that dates back to 1992.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers have requested to interview Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator, and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver for their head coaching position.

Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi added Mike Priefer to his coaching staff as special teams coordinator. "I've known Mike for a long time and have a tremendous amount of respect for him and his résumé," Narduzzi said.
