Julius Randle and the Minnesota Timberwolves are finalizing a new deal that could keep him with the club through the 2027-28 season, a person with knowledge of the agreement said Sunday.

Randle finished the final 21 games of the regular season averaging 18.2 points on 52.3% shooting, 6.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 31.7 minutes per game with the Wolves going 17-4 in that span.
