A woman convicted in connection to a 2019 drug-related homicide in Yellowstone County has died while serving her sentence at the Montana Women’s Prison.

China Rose Dawn Davis, 34, died July 21 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, a department spokesperson said.

The Montana Department of Corrections confirmed that convicted murderer China Rose Dawn Davis died in custody.
