Tyler Motte has been cleared to play so the Detroit Red Wings will have him back against the Kings, but Patrick Kane remains out with an injury.
Compher (upper body) will join the Red Wings on their four-game road trip, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports Wednesday. Compher's presence on the trip is a good indication he'll play at some point, though he hasn't been officially confirmed for the first game against Edmonton on Thursday.
Kane remains day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. He has produced 11 goals, 30 points and 91 shots on net across 42 appearances this season. J.T. Compher (undisclosed) won't play Monday,

Raymond was doing fine before McLellan became Detroit Red Wings coach on Dec. 26. Since then, his game has reached another level. He has 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 16 games under McLellan. He ranks second in the NHL in points during this time, one behind Boston’s David Pastrnak.
