A brush fire was reported Tuesday afternoon in Douglas County, just a few miles from fires that broke out Sunday that forced the evacuations of the town of Louviers.
A “Fire Train” arrived in Colorado on Monday, the day after a series of fires sparked along train tracks in Douglas County and burned 130 acres, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.

The firenadoes that formed during the brush fire on Sunday near Louviers were unusual, said 9NEWS Weather Impact Team meteorologist Chris Bianchi.
South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) said the vegetation fire burning near US 85 had grown to 130 acres and was 90% contained by Monday morning.
A two-alarm vegetation fire in unincorporated Douglas County prompted an evacuation alert being sent to residents in the Colorado town of Louviers on Sunday afternoon. By Sunday evening, that order had been lifted.
