Justin Baldoni’s drastic step during Blake Lively’s deposition reportedly stunned both legal teams. According to a source, his dramatic demand to attend his “It Ends With Us” co-star’s deposition created a toxic environment.

Baldoni had claimed Lively used her “celebrity status” to control the deposition and requested it be held “at a location of her choosing."

In June, Judge Lewis J. Liman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, the couple's publicist Leslie Sloane, and Sloane's public relations company Vision PR for alleged extortion and defamation.
