Austin Wells replied to Cody Bellinger’s latest Instagram post with a crying face emoji as rumors swirl about the star’s looming free agency decision. The eight-picture post, which shows Bellinger working out, was the two-time All-Star’s first Instagram activity since he shared photos of himself exercising at the same facility in late November.
Over the weekend, Bellinger took to Instagram to showcase photos of his recent workouts in the gym. In the comment section, another one of MLB’s free agents, pitcher Walker Buehler, left a message for Bellinger. “You’re so jacked,” Buehler wrote.
Cody Bellinger has become the best position player available in free agency, and interest in him extends beyond the Yankees and Mets.
