An early-season storm sweeping through Northern California dropped more than an inch of rain in some parts of the Sacramento region, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service is forecasting up to 1.5 inches of rain will fall on the valley floor at Marysville-Yuba City Monday through Wednesday monring.
