Nvidia is revealing today that it has sold more RTX 50-series GPUs than 40-series during the first five weeks of launch. While we don’t have exact figures, Nvidia has supplied a chart that claims it has shipped 2x in that same amount of time.

Nvidia says it's working to improve stock levels for new GeForce RTX 50-series gaming GPUs, lowering the price of the graphics cards.

Nvidia claims RTX 50-series GPUs are off to a better start than the previous generation. Nvidia has released four GPUs in the past several weeks, compared to only two in the previous generation. RTX 50-series GPUs remain out of stock at most major retailers.
