Zion Williamson was suspended one game by the Pelicans for arriving late to the team’s flight to Philadelphia, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania . He’ll miss New Orleans’ Friday night game against the 76ers as a result.

Zion Williamson has only played in eight games for the New Orleans Pelicans this season, and the 2024-25 campaign will be the fifth out of six seasons that the two-time All-Star has not reached the NBA's 65-game threshold for season awards.
