This is the second time in less than 12 months that Royal Caribbean has decided to remove Haiti from its Caribbean stops. Last summer, it suspended visit to Labadee through September 2024.

The site, which has private security, includes a day-use resort with five beaches, a zip line and other recreation. The cruise line has been operating in Labadee since the 1980s.

Royal Caribbean is updating its itinerary to drop Labadee, Haiti, an award-winning port, from upcoming sailings due to safety concerns over escalating gang violence and political instability.

Labadee stop replaced by Nassau, Bahamas with a call time of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is not the first time Royal Caribbean has suspended stops to Labadee because of unrest in Haiti.
