In one of the biggest GOP primary races of the midterms, Sen. John Cornyn and his allies are bringing up Ken Paxton’s personal life, and some backers are rethinking their support.

Accusations of adultery were prominent in Ken Paxton’s impeachment in 2023. Former aides in his office accused him of having an extramarital affair with a former Senate aide.

Angela Paxton was also present during this testimony. As a Texas Senator, Angela would have been expected to vote in the impeachment, but was disqualified due to her obvious connection to Ken.
