While visiting a shelter for wildfire survivors in Westwood, former Vice President Kamala Harris said Thursday an increasingly longer California fire season is requiring leaders to think about how they can "do better" in handling the natural disasters.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, alongside L.A County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, surveyed the Palisades Fire burn areas on Thursday and visited the Westwood Recreation Center, an evacuation site for displaced residents.

Rogan reacted to reports suggesting that his team misled Harris’s campaign about a potential appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience."

Rogan, a member of the UFC broadcast team as a color commentator since UFC 37.5 in 2002, has scaled back his broadcast work since Mike Goldberg's departure at the end of 2016. At present, the long-time martial arts enthusiast only covers domestic pay-per-view events each year and is no longer assigned to every event.

Missing the show just weeks before Election Day was considered by some analysts as a major setback for Harris's White House bid.
